N 34312 belongs to Dale Benskin from Marshalltown, IA.  He and Larry West spent about 22 years working off and on getting it rebuilt!  It was a sizeable project as it had been converted to a sprayer and subsequently crashed when Dale got the project.   As a sprayer, the rear cockpit was moved back 6 inches and the front cockpit and fuel tank were removed to make room for the spray tank.  It then had a 220 Continental hung on it.  It was good practice for Larry's rebuild as he had to rebuild from the rear pit forward!
